The winners were Luigi Crema, Stefano Merler, Claudio Piemonte and Stefano Tonetta.

It will deal with the design, implementation and marketing of new microelectronic technologies, particularly low light intensity detectors for applications ranging from the analysis of materials to nuclear medicine. Its name is "Advansid". It’s a new company born of the synergy between Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Diatec Holding SpA (Cles), leader of the multinational group of the same name, and A-Innotech of Trento, an Optoi group holding specializing in the development and marketing of microelectronic sensors.
